Russian fairy tale anti-hero, Koshey the Immortal, his soul is dark as coffee, he himself is hot as Carolina reaper pepper!

Soft scent of roasted malt with coffee notes. Velvety sweetness and strong aftertaste. Dark brown color. Creamy yellow-brown head.  Dark roasted malt dominates the taste of dry stout with a coffee finish. Medium hoppy bitterness. Medium sweetness, hop bitterness and sharp pepper hotness at the end.

This time we decided to dedicate the brew to one of Russian folklore spirits, Leshy, the Ruler of Forests. He can be cruel, can be kind, depending on your behaviour while in his realm, and on his mood too, of course. Like our ale, moderately dry and with Citra/Amarillo.

Intense hoppy flavor from American hops. Light maltyness in the back. Tint of yellow. Good head retention with long duration. Hop profile with citrus and resinous flavour in mouthfeel. Medium to high bitterness. Smooth, medium-light mouthfeel without harsh astringency and medium-high carbonation in combination can give an overall dry mouthfeel with malt sweetness.

Wolf's shepherd, or Egory the Brave, is a ruler of heavenly wolves, he drives predators from the sky as his hounds. It was believed that wolves do not kill every prey they can reach, but only those that Shepherd would point out.

Our wolves, Citra, Amarillo, Centennial hops, have ferocious character (IBU100) and frightening fangs (8.6% ABV). They rushed through triple dry hopping and descended to the Earth. And only Shepherd can decide whether one can be given to the wolves. Who is next? You choose. Cheers!

Black IPA with hoppy balance from Simcoe, Mosaic and Centennial.

Background story: First Russian Olympic champion originated from Voronezh – a figure skater Nikolay Panin-Kolomenkin, winning a gold medal in 1908. He was performing in “special figures”, a type of figure skating focused on making complex shapes and figures on one skate.

There were 10 contesters, including famous Ulrich Salchow from Sweden. When competitors saw figures announced by Kolomenkin, most of them withdrew from the competition, saying that his figures are impossible to perform. Salchow demanded that results of the competition should be cancelled due to only 3 competitors taking part in the contest. However, International iceskating union still insisted on giving the gold medal to Kolomenkin.

First volume of Severyanin is a warming barelywine rich with complex and intense flavours. Ageing in whisky casks for 2 years has added this strong and thick barleywine with additional astringency. Ideal literature for slow winter evenings.
